A single mom with two young lads, we travel as often as we can. As a teacher I have many breaks and we usually spend them on the road. Leaving home is now as routine as brushing my teeth, but way more fun.
I started Rollin With my Homies in 2022 with the goal of inspiring others to travel in a way that’s both thrilling and meaningful. My hope is that this blog can help make your next travel experience the best one yet.

My name is Emily Kenney
Before I became a mom, I hit the road any chance I got. From driving to sunshine after I graduated college and camped at a random campground, to quick spontaneous trips to see family on a long weekend, As soon as I got my license, I was on the road to explore the US.
Once I had kids, my wanderlust never stopped but it looks a lot different! My trips are a little more planned and include a lot more stops.
I am a millennial, high school science teacher, single mom to 2 rambunctious young boys, and bonus mom to a teenager. When I am not traveling or teaching, you can find me at the movies, reading a book, or doing a puzzle.
